Robert "Bob" Treschak

Robert "Bob" Treschak, 71, of Iola WI., formerly of Streator, passed away in his home of natural causes on December 19, 2009.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.

Born August 28, 1938, in Streator, IL. to Andrew and Evelyn Treschak.

He attended St. Stephen's grade school in Streator, Streator Township High School and University of Illinois.

He worked was a journeyman carpenter and owned Treschak Home Center in Streator for nearly twenty years.

Bob enjoyed many hobbies, including; reading, fishing, deer hunting, ballroom dancing, telling tall stories and concocting new recipes for success.

He is survived by his children Janice Lock (Brian) of Streator, IL., Virginia Raridon (Randy) of LaSalle, IL., William Treschak of Streator, Il., Catherine Higgins (Tim) of Tonica, IL., and special friend Jan Ronchetto of Stevens Point, WI.

He was preceded in death by his Parents.
