Ronald L. Henson, 62 of Streator passed away Saturday (Oct. 24th) at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home, Streator. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11Am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Booze officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, nephews, Dan, Dave, Tim, Mike, Rich, Dennis, Terry and Larry Henson

Born, February 28, 1947 in Rockford, IL to Leslie and Myrtle (Wright) Henson. He married Cheryl Rotello on October 6, 1984, she survives. Also surviving are Robin Powell of Polo, IL, Rob (Chris) Henson of Lima, OH, Diane Henson of Rockford, Jeff Henson of Jacksonville, IL, Penny (Brian) Osborne of Marengo, Monica (Rick) Yearton of Marengo, Scott Grimmett of Huston, TX, Melissa Wilson of Streator, Robb (Heather) Wilson of Rockford, Joe (Wynter) Wilson of Ottawa, 26 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Lou Wiltfang of Streator, brothers, Bob Henson of Manville, Roger Henson of Byron, IL

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Deloris Hanesford.

He was a truck driver for 30 years retiring in August of 2007 from Yellow Freightways.

He is member of the Boot kickers and Teamsters Local 710 and First Assembly of God Church, Streator.

He attended grade school and high school in Byron, IL.

He enjoyed playing golf and watching Nas Car Racing and Chicago Sports on TV
