Ronald K. Janke, 74 of rural Streator passed away Wednesday morning (March 21, 2012) at Ottawa Pavilion Nursing Home.
A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9-11AM at the Grand Ridge Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Ronald was born on November 30, 1937 in Streator, IL to Richard and Marjorie (Redman) Janke.
He married Veretta Richards on December 11, 1985 in Streator, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are 3 step-sons, Phillip E. (Renee) Scudder of Montague, MI, Victor A. (Karrie) Scudder of Lowell, MI, and Jesse J. (Marcia) Scudder of Bear Lake, MI, 3 step-granddaughters and 3 step-grandsons, sisters, Lorene (Kenneth) Carpenter of Naples, FL, Carol (David) Brown of New Bern, NC, and Patricia Culp of Houston, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Theodore Janke.
Ronald graduated from Streator High School in 1955 and farmed all his life in the Grand Ridge area and owned and operated Janke Grain.
