Ronald W Payton

Ronald W. Payton, 65 of Streator passed away Friday evening April 2, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday from 4 – 6 PM with a Time of Remembrance at 6 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.

Ron was born on July 14, 1955 in Fordsville, KY to Havord and Mazie (Bishop) Payton.  He Married Martha Austino on June 25, 1977.  She survives.

Also surviving is a  daughter, Amanda Payton, sons, Jimmy and Josh Payton all of Streator, grandchildren, Xzaveria, James, Shyla, Carson and Carter and a sister Barb (Mike) Kridner of Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Joyce Clay and Nancy and a brother Butch Colclasure.

Ron worked 30 years at Ligori Auto Wrecking retiring in December of 2020.  He enjoyed boating and old cars.
