Rosalie C. Maass, 77 of Streator passed away Tuesday morning (Jan. 25th) at her home.
A visitation will be held on Friday from 9-11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery, Ottawa. Pallbearers will be William "Pee Wee" Maass, Bob Meyers, Phil Kline, Dick Garvey, Jay Gebhardt, Jr., and Bernie Gehrets.
Rosalie was born June 21, 1933 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to Rymal and Edith (Meridith) Bruce.
She married Donald Maass on January 5, 1963. He survives.
Surviving is daughter, Cheryl (Joel) Meyers of Streator, 4 grandchildren, Jay Gebhardt, Jr., Sarah Clay, and Cameron and Madyson Meyers, 5 great-grandchildren, Jaleigh, Masie, Colin, and Christy Rose Clay, and Luke Gebhardt, brother, Orville (JoAnn) Bruce of Ottawa, and sister, Joetta Roseland of Morris.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Meagher.
Rosalie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Streator Eagles, Women of the Moose and Church of the Open Bible.
She attended Ottawa grade school and High school.
Memorials may be directed to the Church of the Open Bible or to the Alzheimer's Association.
