Russell Dale Rhodes

Russell D. Rhodes, 63 of Streator passed away Thursday morning (December 14^th) at his home.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 – 6 PM at the Central Church of Christ.  Services will be held Tuesday at 6 PM at the church.  Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Russell was born on February 5, 1954 in Streator to Russell and Beverly (Karr) Rhodes.

Surviving are children Aaron (Nicole) Kiest of Pontiac, Eve Rhodes of Minonk and Russell (Audrey) Rhodes of Minonk, grandchildren Dylan, Kayli, Grace, Isabella, Alexa, Destany, Knox, Camron, Quetin, Norah, Zachary and Allan, his honey of 13 years Karen Ashley of Streator, brothers George (Amy) Rhodes of Fairbault, MN and Jon (Jackie) Rhodes of Grand Rapids, MI, sisters Lorraine Rhodes Forest of Streator and Cheryl (Charles) Bivens of Streator and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Danielle.

Russell attended Woodland School, served in the US Navy and retired from as a self employed construction worker.  He enjoyed gardening, playing Farmville on the computer and bags.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
