Ruth E. Stasko

Ruth E. Stasko, 84 of Streator, passed away Sunday (Jan. 31st) at her home.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 - 8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with rosary recited at 7PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11:30AM at St. Stephen's Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim, Brad and Ryan Emm, Gary Stasko, Edward and Cory Snyder and Honorary Pallbearer will be Megan Emm.

She was born May 1, 1925 in Pontiac, Michigan to Frank and Violet (Allen) Dobney. She married Louis E. Stasko on September 11, 1946, he passed away August 3, 1998.

Surviving are, daughter, Patricia (Larry) Emm of Streator, 4 grandchildren, Tim, Brad, Ryan (Ania) and Megan Emm and 1 great-granddaughter, Sydney Middleton.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Agre.

She retired from Union Bank in 1987 and was a member of St. Stephen's Church; St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary and served on the board. She attended schools in Rochester, Michigan.
