Sam Giacinto

Sam Giacinto, 82 of Streator passed away Thursday morning (May 13, 2021) at the Ottawa Pavilion, Ottawa.

Funeral services will be private, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.  The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Sam was born on November 29, 1938 in Streator to Pete and Geraldine (Carletti) Giacinto.  He married Kathleen Connolley on April 22, 2015.  she survives.

Also surviving are step daughters, Holly (Doug) Lautwein of Streator and Wendy (George) Shafer of Michigan City, IN, Sue (Leonard) Lawson of Richlands, VA and Kim (Craig) Houser of Cape Coral, FL, brother Pete (Ann) Giacinto of Harrisburg, AR, brother-in-law Jim Teegardin of Streator and a lifelong friend, Bob Hewitt of Streator.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Joann Teegardin and Justine Fraher.
