Sandra Kaye Winterrowd

Sandra Kaye Winterrowd, 70 of Streator passed away Tuesday morning (January 3^rd) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 3 – 6 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be grandson Jacob Handzo, cousins, Larry, Toby and Larry Lee Winterrowd, David Winterrowd, Randy Winterrowd and Sam York, Zach Thomas.

Kaye was born March 14, 1946 in Streator to M.F. “Sam” and Marjorie (Hamilton) Winterrowd.

Surviving are daughters Dawn Lynn Handzo and Jill-Ane Handzo both of Streator, grandchildren Brie-Ane, Jacob and Hannah Handzo and Emilie Martin, great-grandson Sterling Sergeant,  sister Jo Lee Winterrowd Houlihan of Gainesville, FL and brother Rick (Cynthia) Winterrowd of Hollywood, FL and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Kaye graduated from Woodland High School in 1964.  She formerly owned Kaye’s Beauty Shop and was formerly employed as a security officer at Commonwealth Edison at the LaSalle and Braidwood Stations.  She retired from Advance America Loan, was a member of the Eastern Star and Streator Eagles Club.
