Sanford "Ido" Berry Jr.

Sanford “Ido” Berry Jr., 60 of Streator passed away Friday (January 24, 2025) at his home.

Born on December 19, 1964, in Streator to Sanford and Constance (Baugh) Berry Sr.

He leaves behind siblings, Belinda Baugh, Shirley Williams, Karen Berry, Melissa (Russell) Shepherd, Raymond (Cathy) Berry all of Streator, Joyce Berry of Peoria, Dianne McKinney of Woodstock, GA, Warren Berry of Jackson, MI and Lewis (Renee) Berry of Rockford and a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was very close to our special uncle, Richard Baugh.

He is preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents Arthur and Willa Mae (Dauphous) Baugh and nephew Lance M. Berry.

Sanford attended Streator Grade School and Streator high School. He was a avid chess player and had a outgoing personality.

A celebration of life has been scheduled for May 3, 2025 at the Streator Moose Lodge.

However, the family will have a private gathering reflecting his life in the coming weeks.
