Scott R. Ainsley, 53 of Streator passed away Saturday evening (Feb. 23rd) at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held Friday from 4 – 7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 7PM at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at a later date.
Scott was born on October 13, 1959 in Ottawa to Paul G. and Marilyn (Freeman) Ainsley. He married Sharon Lenhausen on Feb. 14, 1994, she survives.
Also surviving are daughters Tara (Tony) Flanery of Streator, Heather (Kevin) Ensign of Dana, Sara (Billy Burgess) Hafer of Streator, 9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, father, Paul (Alice) Ainsley of DeKalb, Aunt, Shirley (Weldon) Oetken of Marseilles, Uncle, Doyle Freeman of California, mother-in-law, Louise Lenhausen of Streator, several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog “Zoeâ€.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother, brother, Paul R. Ainsley and father-in-law, Richard Lenhausen.
He attended Mazon Grade School and High School and was a truck driver for Group One Inc.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donors’ choice.
