Sharon K. Applebee, 72 of Grand Ridge, passed away Wednesday (Jan. 19th) at St. Mary's Hospital.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday from Noon-2PM at the Grand Ridge Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
Sharon was born December 4, 1938 in Morris to Erwin and Lucille (Nelson) Cardott.
She married Roger Applebee on November 9, 1957. He passed away December 14, 2008.
Surviving are: daughters, Debbie Wicinski (Glenn Campbell) of Peru, and Dawn (William) Reardon of Grand Ridge, sons, Darrell (Laurie) Applebee of Ponchtaloua, Louisiana, and Allan Applebee of Minnesota, 5 grandchildren, Josh (Becky) Wincinski , Chelsie Applebee, Zachary and Reiley Reardon, and Madison Applebee, and 3 great-grandsons, Gavin, Dane, and Brent.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
She attended Seneca Catholic grade school and graduated from Seneca High School in 1957.
She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Church in Leonore.
