Sheryne Lee Contreras

Sheryne Lee (Hall) Contreras, 70 of Grand Ridge Illinois joined her parents, grandparents, and other family members in heaven on March 3, 2018.

 She was born on October 26, 1947 in Streator to Sherman and Margaret Jean (Schmitt) Hall.

Sheryne is survived by her 3 children Lisa (Raul) Castro, Donald Webb, Jennifer Miller

her 12 Grandchildren, Heidi, Marc, Alex, Ben, Hannah, Maddie, Ella, Justin, Brittany,Brady, Matthew, Megan, her 3 “great grands” as she called them Ava, Kennedy and Mia and her precious dog Pink, siblings Sherman “Skip” (Nancy) Hall, LuAnn (Bill) Schultz, Felicia (Chris) Unser Moran and Charlene (Ted) Karleski.

Sheryne loved her family and friends with everything she was. She always had an open door and open heart to anyone she ever came in contact with.  She was truly and amazing mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend.

Sheryne was the heart of the little town called Grand Ridge.

A visitation will be held Sunday (March 18^th) from 12 – 3 PM at the Grand Ridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Grand Ridge Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her family.
