Shirley Ann Davis

Shirley Ann Davis, 61 of Streator passed away Sunday morning (November 18^th) at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Following cremation a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Shirley was born on December 2, 1956 in Joliet to Herman and Rosalie(Noman) Neese.  She married Richard Davis on August 6, 1988.  He survives.

Also surviving are son Michael (Rachelle) Neese of Streator, daughter Heather (Jeremy) Hall of Streator, step-children Richard Davis Jr of Wisconsin, Mark Davis of California, Melody (Mike) Minor of Plainfield, Hope Pouliot of Westmont and Penny (Thomas) Hunter of Pennsylvania, 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, brothers William (Ethel) Neese of Wilmington, Charles (Sylvia) Neese of Charleston and Robert (Betty) Neese of Wilmington and sister Judy (Mark) Ashley of Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Donald Neese and sisters Betty Howard and Lois Shear, in-laws Raymond and Leona Davis.

She was a Sunday school teacher and custodian at the Christ Lutheran Church in Clarendon Hills.  Shirley enjoyed listening to music and singing to her husband, coloring and going for walks and teaching kids bowling.  She enjoyed all of her family and extending love to all she knew.
