Shirley L. Stevenson, 77 of Pontiac and formerly of Streator passed away Sunday afternoon (Nov. 18th) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 - 7:30PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Shirley was born on February 1, 1935 in Streator to John and Leola (Copeland) Yurko.
Surviving are son Mark Stevenson of Ottawa, daughter Lisa (James) Schmidgall of Fairbury, 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Autumn, Alice, Sarah, and Zachary, and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother John Yurko Jr.
Shirley was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and attended Kangley Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1953.
She was last employed at Wal-Mart in Pontiac.
