Sondra K. Huff

Sondra K. Huff, 78 of Streator passed away Tuesday morning (November 22^nd) at Heritage Health and Senior Care, Streator.

A visitation will be held Sunday from 3 – 6 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday at 6 PM at the funeral home with cremation rites following services.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Sondra was born on July 11, 1938 in Minier, IL to Edward A. and Mary (Dwyer) Malinowski.  She married John Huff on September 5, 1956. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2016.

Surviving are son Gary (Ruth) Huff of Streator, daughter Robin (Brian) Galloway of Oglesby, grandchildren, Kayla (Dan Head) Cook, Christopher Huff, Kurt Cook Jr., Benjamin (Abby) Huff, Hannah (Jody Dixon) Huff and Marc Bucalo, great grandchildren, Marcus and Mareea Hunter and Addyson Cook and sister, Mary Ellen Williams of Bloomington.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Shirley Rayburn, Josephine Bess and Betty Back Scott.

Sondra graduated from Bloomington High School in 1956 and retired from Owens Illinois Glass.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
