Stephen G. Bennett II

   Stephen G. Bennett II, 43, of Gloucester, MA, and formerly of Streator and Pontiac passed away May 31, 2012 following a motorcycle accident in Mass.
   A memorial visitation will be held on Monday from 3-6PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
   A memorial service will be held on Monday at 6PM at the funeral home.
   Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
   Stephen was born on January 6, 1969 in Pontiac, IL to Stephen G. and Mary Lou (Turner) Bennett, Sr.
   He married Tammy Reed on January 18, 1992. She survives.
   Also surviving are daughters, Ashleigh and Alyssa Bennett, and sons, Stephen G.III and Hunter "Bubba" Bennett, all of Gloucester, MA, father, Stephen Bennett, Sr, of Pontiac, mother, Mary Lou Casey of Flanagan, sisters, Stephanie Bennett of Flanagan, Dawn Bennett of Dwight, and Cheri DeRossett of Streator, and brothers, J. Wesley Bennett, and Aaron J. Bennett both of Pontiac, and Sean Bennett of Ft. Myers, FL. He was also a loving husband and a father.
   He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Anne Bennett, and maternal grandparents, Chalmers and Naomi Turner.
   Stephen attended Streator and Pontiac High School and graduated from Kankakee Community College.
   He served in the National Guard.
   He was employed by Ophir Optics in North Andover, MA.
   He was a big Dallas Cowboys Fan, loved hunting, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
   He will be sorely missed.
