Summer Grace Mills

Summer Grace Mills, 21 of Streator passed away Tuesday February 16, 2021 at her home.

Visitation will be held Monday from 10 AM until 2 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Summer was born on June 10, 1999 in Ottawa to Stephen A. and Marcia (Mullen) Mills.

Surviving is her father Stephen A. Mills of Ajo, AZ, mother, Marcia (Earl) Hale of Streator, brother Mason Mills of Ransom, nieces and nephews, Savannah, Brantley and Mya Mills and Keefer Herzog, grandmother Carolyn Pottinger of Streator and great-grandmother Betty Mills of Ancona and a aunt Kimberly(Brian) Wicks of Streator. She had many great aunts and uncles, as well. Mike and Phylis(Aldrich) Murphy, Terry and Cheryl (Dignon) Murphy, Kelly Murphy, Kevin Murphy, Audrey Murphy, Gary and Kim (Murphy) Foristall. Too many loving cousins to name.

She is preceded in death by her brother Matthew Mills, aunt Jodi Palmer, aunt Coleen Hjerpie, Janet Murphy, BJ Murphy, a cousin Shane Murphy, grandparents, Earl Pottinger, Tom Mills, Irvin and Patricia Mullen, great-grandparents, Jack and Fay Murphy, Lawrence and Helena Mullen, Alvin and Gertrude Hillyer and John Mills.

Summer loves music. Her greatest love of all was her family. Summer was more than our daughter/ granddaughter she was our best friend. Summer graduated from Streator High School in 2017 and she enjoyed 4 wheeling, fishing, Disney and loving animals.

Summer was a beautiful person, with a great laugh, and gorgeous smile. Her sense of humor was beyond.. Sumner was a point blank person. Summers greatest love was her dog Tank and her best friend Cabrey    Boyington. She had a special friend Khalid Norwood aka (Kool).

We love you Summer Grace infinity and beyond.
