Thomas G. Bradish, Sr., 84
Of Lake Wildwood, Varna, IL and formerly of Streator.
Passed away Sat. (Jul. 11) at his home.
A Visitation will be held on Tues. (Jul. 14th) from 5-8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Services will be held Tues (Jul. 14th) at 8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with Full Military Honors conducted by the Streator American Legion and VFW at 7PM.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park at a later date.
He was born September 5, 1924 in Streator to Frank and Sophie (Thowkovich) Bradish.
He married Roxie J. Wright (Pollett) on January 12, 1963. She passed away December 6, 2005.
Surviving are sons Thomas Bradish Jr. of Afganastan, Frank (Chris) Bradish of Hamilton, IL, Paul Bradish of Chandler, NC, Theresa (Rob) Waltz of Spring Valley, IL, Daughter, Jeanette (Jerry) Vaughan of Streator, son Ralph (Cheryl) Pollett of Fort Worth,Texas, Daughter, Ina Marie (Jeff) Behrens of Varna, IL , 24 Grandchildren, 31 Great- Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandson.
He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Elaine Russ, 1 Grandson, Christopher James Pollett, 1 Great-Grandson, Jared Dixon Richard Rebholz, Brothers, Paul and Joseph, and Sisters, Mildred Arbise, and Catherine.
He served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II from 1942-1948.
He retired from Owens Illinois Glass.
He was of the Catholic Faith.
He attended St. Mary's Grade School and Streator High School.
