Thomas L Miller Sr.

Thomas L. Miller Sr., 76 of Streator passed away Monday (November 20, 2023) evening at Aperion Care, Princeton.

Following cremation, a private family service will be held.

Tom was born on May 18, 1947, in Seneca to Frank and Grace (Thomas) Miller. He married Diane Brooke

on July 31, 1973. She survives.

Also surviving are Scott Allen Melvin, Mindy Lynn (Anthony Sr.) Stratton, Thomas Leroy Jr., and Guy

Wallace (Tracey) Melvin all of Streator, 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a sister Sue

(William) Fredricks of Streator.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Frank Jr., Robert, Johnny, and Raymond in infancy,

sisters, Mary Sellers, Kathleen Davis, and Glenda in infancy.

Tom attended Seneca grade school and Seneca High School. He retired from Owens Illinois Glass and

Woodland School in 2022. Tom enjoyed scrapping and working on cars. Tom found he liked to walk and

could be seen anywhere around town. He enjoyed working with all his co-workers. Especially the guys

at Woodland School. He made many friends and will be greatly missed.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.

compassion for Tom was amazing.
