Timothy James Marshall

Timothy James Marshall, 63 of Streator passed away Sunday afternoon (April 6, 2025) after a 10-year battle of cancer surrounded by his family.

A visitation will be held Sunday from 3 – 6 p.m. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Tim was born on October 4, 1961, in Streator to Rolland and Rita (Zulz) Marshall. He married Linda Richards on July 13, 1985.

Surviving is his wife Linda, daughter Gretchen (Keith Missel) Turner, son Andrew (Kelsie Allen) Marshall, grandchildren, Charlie, Ashton and Quinn all of Streator, brothers Dave Marshall of Geneseo and Daniel Marshall of El Paso, several nieces and nephews, brothers in law, Jeff (Julie) Richards, Brian (Jeannie) Richards and Craig (Jodi) Richards and longtime best friend Rick Allison all of Streator.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters in law, Barbara and Patricia Marshall, niece Rebecca Curtis and his in laws Charles and Phyllis Richards.

Tim attended Wenona Grade School and graduated from Wenona high School in 1979. He attended I.S.U. with a major in voice music and minor in business. Tim was formerly employed with Streator Onized Credit Union as President. He was a member of the Red Cross, he was an avid guitar player, playing with the local band Justice for many years. Tim enjoyed fishing with his family and watching the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears with Rick.
