Tony M. Cantello

Tony M. Cantello, 76 of Streator passed away Tuesday (February 1, 2022) at his home.

A visitation will be held Thursday from 4:30 – 6Pm at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with services following at 6 pm.  Private family burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Tony was born on September 24, 1945, in Knoxville, TN to Gaetano “Tony” and Mary “Alberta” (Henderson) Cantello.

He is survived by sons; Toby of Spring, TX, Cory of Kyle, TX and Jody (Jami) of Frisco, TX, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, sister, Dian (Richard) Wilkinson of Florida and brother, John (Donna) Cantello of Arizona and several nieces and nephews.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents, sister Tina Kubiak, nephews Brian and Michael Wilkinson.

Tony graduated from Streator High School and attended the University of Rolla, MO.  He retired as a engineer from Arcades Geraghty and Miller, Inc in Texas.  Tony was affiliated with the First United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Streator Lions Club or a charity of the donors’ choice.
