Vera Mae Webb

Vera Mae Webb, 94 of Pontiac and formerly of Blackstone passed away Monday (February 24, 2020) at the Evenglow Health Center, Pontiac.

Visitation will be held Monday from 10 AM until 12 noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Monday at noon at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Blackstone Cemetery.

Vera was born on January 1, 1926 in Huron, S. Dakota to John and Hazel (Hendershot) Wirsching.  She married James “Bud” Webb on September 14, 1947.  He preceded her in death on August 23, 2014.

Surviving are daughters Penny Stricklin of N. Little Rock, Arkansas and Beverly Concienne of Franklin, Louisiana and son William Webb of Pontiac, 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Misty, TJ, Jenny and Joey and several great-grandchildren and a sister Lois Becker of Toluca.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Suzanne and a brother Walter.

Vera was a member of the former Blackstone United Methodist Church and in her earlier years she was active with the Livingston County 4H and 4 H fair.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Livingston County Humane Society.
