Veronica R. Koskovich, 93 formerly of Streator passed away Friday (Apr. 8th) with her family at her side at the Mercy Villa Care Center in Springfield, MO.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30 - 11:30AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:30 at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Streator.
Veronica was born August 22, 1917 in Streator, IL to Joseph and Eva (Matysik) Bronovich. She married Andrew J. Koskovich on May 9, 1935 at the St. Mary's Church in Ottawa, he passed away Sept. 21, 1994.
Surviving are sons, Donald (Barbara) Koskovich of Pheonix, AZ, Ronald (Rosalie) Koskovich of Springfield, MO, daughter, Pamela Elkins of Springfield, MO, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and a sister Sue Barry of Ottawa, IL.
She is preceded in death by a son in infancy, 1 great-grandchild, brother, Rudolph, sisters, Mary Degrazio, Barbara Galletti, Ann Norris, Lilly McDonnell and Eleanore Meagher. Veronica was formerly employed at St. Mary's Hospital in the dietary dept for many years and was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Streator.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donors' choice.
