Vicki Lynn Steffy

   Vicki Lynn Steffy, 59, of Streator, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012, at 9:55 a.m. in the Emergency Room of St. Mary's Hospital in Streator.
   She was born July 7, 1953, in Harrisburg, Illinois, to Rev. Gerald and Betty Lou Steffy. She is survived by her parents who live in Peoria, Illinois, one brother, Gerald R. Steffy II, of Schererville, Indiana, a niece Kristyn Studebaker of Normal, Illinois, and a nephew, Joshua Steffy of Matteson, Illinois, one great niece, Kaylee Studebaker, and one great nephew, A.J. Studebaker, plus other relatives and friends.
   She graduated from Glenbard East High School in Lombard, Illinois, Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and received a Masters Degree from Olivet Nazarene University. She worked for Motorola for several years in Security and then in Human Resources. She moved to Streator in 2003 and has worked for Hilton Reservations and Results in recent years.
   Vicki accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at Northside Baptist Church in Fairfield, Illinois. She has served in leadership in Youth Ministry and Music Ministry in several churches. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and served on the Church Leadership Team. She loved her Lord and was happiest when she was serving others.
   Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, November 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Winterrowd Funeral Home in Streator.
   Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7th, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1600 W. Main in Streator with visitation one hour before the service. Rev. William Haas, church pastor, will officiate.
