Virginia A. Funk, 84 of Streator, passed away Wednesday (June 1st) at the Asta Care Center in Toluca.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Burial will be in the Evangelical-Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown, WI at a later date.
Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Virginia was born on March 18, 1927 in Watertown, WI to Alvin and Martha (Hoelzel) Bock.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Virginia attended grade schools in Watertown, WI and graduated from Streator High School.
She moved to Streator from Watertown, WI in 1940. She was the bookkeeper and worked for Bock Badger Paint Store in Streator. She was a Braille Transcriber for the Lutheran Church in the Wisconsin Synod and a former member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown, WI.
She was an expert in counted cross-stitch, embroidery, crochet, and other sewing crafts. She was an avid lover of all animals and donated to their cause.
