Virginia A. Norman, 93 of Streator passed away Friday (April 8th) at St. Mary's Hospital.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 - 11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:30AM at St. Michael the Archangel Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Streator
Virginia was born on February 21, 1918 in Streator, IL to William and Clara (Gerber) Rohlman.
She married Albert Norman in 1945 he passed away on Jan. 4, 1972.
Surviving are daughters, Sandra (late Jack) Babey of Champaign, IL, Carole Gardner of Streator, son Greg Norman of Streator, nine grandchildren, Melissa Williams, Richard Babey, Vickie Salisbury, Ben, Kevin and Chris Gardner, Lisa, Amber and Allison Norman. 17 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and a sister Rosemary Yusko of Streator.
Virginia is preceded in death by a granddaughter Keri Norman, sisters, Dorothy Rolhman, Wilma McDonald and Norma Graff, brothers, Jack and William Rolhman.
She attended St. Anthony's Grade School and Streator High School and retired from Owens Illinois Glass in 1977, and a member of the former St. Anthony Church and currently of the St. Michael the Archangel Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Church or a charity of the donors' choice.
