William K. Emry 77, of Streator passed away Tuesday evening (July 16th) at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
William was born on May 23, 1936 in Kokomo, IN to Virgil and Helen (Peterson) Emry.
He married Karen Matter on October 1, 1980. She survives.
Also surviving are 7 children between them, 3 sisters, Juanita (Don) Erickson, Laura Keith, and Phyllis Conrad.
He was preceded in death by his brother John Emry.
Bill graduated college in California and was a millwright. He retired as a superintendent from Chicago Bridge and Iron Company and later managed both Super Wash car washes in Streator.
He served in the U.S. Marines.
