William E. Hall Sr. , 75 of Streator passed away Monday morning (Dec. 12th) at his home.
A visitation will be held Friday from 11AM until 2PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2PM at the Winterrrowd Funeral Home. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig and Joshua Thomas, Rick Ortega, Jim and Kevin Hall, and John Redfern. Honorary pallbearers will be Summer and Madison Kirk, Shea and Autumn Thomas, Gavin Ortega, Alexis Delehanty, Connor Freeman , Carter Osland , Alex and Janell Ortega.
William was born on June 29, 1936 in Momence, IL to Edlor and Rosella (Koening) Hall.
He married Wilma Bales on September 21, 1955 in Topeka, KS. She survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Connie (Mike) Pottinger and Debra Lynch, son, William (Josefa) Hall, Jr. all of Streator, 9 grandchildren, Craig and Chris Thomas, Cori Geary, Mike (Stacey Graham) Delehanty Jr, Melissa (Rick Ortega) Kirk, Jessica Lynch, Jimmy and Kevin Hall, and Noleie Desilva 14 great-grandchildren and 6 step- great grandchildren, and 2 great-great granddaughters, and brother Willis Mathias of Christopher, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Dorothy Reed, Rosemary Bohannan, brother, Edward Hall, grandsons, Jeffrey and Cody Delehanty.
He worked at Streator Dependable and retired from Vactor Mfg. William loved camping, fishing, woodworking, gardening, custom car painting and golf cart riding with his beloved pet Daisy.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
