Burial will be in Long Point Cemetery

He is preceded in death by, Grandson Bret, Brother, George, and son-in-law, James Hughes and Brother-in-law, Louis Knapp
He graduated from Long Point High School and had been the oldest living graduate. He retired from the Woodland School District in 1973
He enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, bird watching and maintained a lively curiosity about all things. His enjoyment of family was paramount and he provided a model of what a good husband and father should be.
