William L. Ward, Sr.

William L. Ward, Sr., 62 of Streator passed away Saturday afternoon (Sept. 24^th) at his home surrounded by his family. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10AM-12Noon at Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12Noon at the funeral home.  Burial will be Hillcrest Memorial Park. 

Pallbearers will be Bill Ward, Jr., Jim Lowry, Troy Michaels, Dave Miller, Chris Dufer and Bill Dawson, Jr.

Bill was born December 10, 1953 in Streator, IL to Buell and Barbara (Pollett) Ward.

He married Patrice Neiggemann on February 10, 1978.  She survives. 

Also surviving is a daughter, Rachel (Jim) Lowry and son, William (Fiancée’ Jamie Oldfather) Ward, Jr. both of Streator, 2 grandchildren, Ryan Andrew William Lowry and Willow Marie Ward both of Streator and sister, Jackie Jimemez of Streator.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Andrew Steaven Lowry, father-in-law, Patrick Neiggemann and brother-in-law, Juan Jimemez.

Bill attended Greely grade school, Northlawn Jr. High and Streator High School.  He was a self-employed mechanic.
